    Dear All, This year we are celebrating Raksha Bandhan with Armed Forces Hindu Network for the first time, on Thursday 23rd of August from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm at India Centre Cardiff. British Hindus have a long history and proud tradition of contribution to UK Defence, going back as far as the First World War and even further, and continuing to this day, with 1,000 Hindus currently serving as regular British Armed Forces personnel, as well as 1,500 Gurkhas and more as reservists and MOD Civil Servants. This is an opportunity to celebrate those links, reaffirming British Hindu commitment to supporting our Armed Forces, and developing meaningful relations between the Armed Forces and the British Hindu community.
