On Wed 19th August HCA(India centre) would be celebrating Balaji Prathistaapana Day("birthday").It is done according to auspicious Thidhi& Nakshatram,please attend and receive Lord's blessings.
It is between 6pm& 8pm,starting with Mahabhishekam followed by mahaprasadam at 8pm. There are arrangements to facilitate your own archana with your names& gothra at a modest payment of £11/-.More deatails in the next email.
HCA would be celebrating Balaji Annual kalyanotsavam on Sunday 27th September between 9am&2pm. This is our major function at India centre in Balaji calendar when we get the opportunity to renew our annual abhishekam subscription & also be yajaman at the kalyanam. More details on the website soon.

Shravan Monday Shiva Puja Separately for Each
Shravan is acknowledged the most blessed month of the year. It is the fifth month of the Hindu logbook reputed to be sawan and otherwise called the first month of Chatur Mas -the four holiest months in Hindu Hindi Calendar. On Purnima or full moon day the nakshatra "Shravan" tenets the sky, consequently the month is called Shravan.
Every day of Sawan is viewed as having worship for the god. Exceptional requests to God and ceremonies are performed in Lord Shiva temples. Mondays or Somvars of Shravan month are exceptionally watched with somberness for Lord Shiva. This month is spread out with endlessly religious celebrations which are Naga-Panchami Kalkyavatara, Putradaikadashi, Shravani Purnima,raksha Bandhan Vara Lakshmi Vrata, Rishi Panchami, Govatsa and just about all the times of this month are propitious.
Importance of Shravan Monday Shiva Puja
Shravan Month is extremely dear to Lord Shiva. On each Monday of this month, venerating master Shiva satisfies all wishes of an individual. Lovers perform Puja and Abhishek of master Shiva. It is accepted, out of the whole God, master Shiva could be effortlessly satisfied. Simply by offering Bel leaf, sins of three births are uprooted.
It is accepted, the individual who observe the Monday fast of Shravan month, one Pradosh fast and Shivaratri fast, does not have any wish inadequate. This ideals appropriated by going to 12 Jyotirlingas, are achieved by observing this fast.
This fast is observed for numerous purposes. Women observe the fast of 16 Monday's (Solah Somwar), for the life span of their wedded life and delight of tyke. Unmarried young women observe this fast to get their decision of spouse. The old ones of a family observe this fast for getting fortune, joy, and distinction.
How to perform Shravan Monday Shiva Puja
Rudra Abhishek is the most crucial and beneficial ritual performed during this time. Rudra Abhishek is a custom where Panchamrut Pooja is offers to Lord Trimbakeshwara with influential hymns/mantras to satisfy all the wishes of the individual who gets it performed. This Abhishekha gives flourishing, satisfaction of all longings; it uproots pessimism, cut off the negative karma and give surrounding bliss in life.the Panchamrut pooja holds Milk, Curd, Ghee, Honey, and Sugar.
Ahishekha is performed by droning the verses of Sanskrit sholakas ('suktas') (Rudra) and concurrently offering bel leaves, holy water, nectar, Milk, curd (yogurt), sugarcane juice to Lord Trimbakeshwar.

Tuesday 28th July 7 PM at the India Centre, Cardiff.
The occasion is the visit of Dr Nagendra an ex NASA scientist who is one of the foremost teachers of Yoga in the world today. Dr Nagendra is the Chancellor of S VYASA Yoga University which is the only Yoga university of India. He has written many books on Yoga.
Dr Nagendra would discuss how Yoga can benefit in the health of our people.
The meeting would be followed by dinner.
